Overview
Since 1988, Praxis Consulting Group has been assisting nonprofit
organizations, businesses and public sector institutions seeking
to increase organizational effectiveness. Although non-profits
experience many of the same organizational dynamics as for-profit
organizations, they are often faced with unique challenges related
to funding, succession planning, structure, and responding to
ongoing changes in the public and policy environment. Utilizing
a collaborative model of consulting, Praxis develops customized
approaches to assist each client organization in maximizing the
human potential in their workforce in order to better fulfill
the organization’s mission.
Strategy
Praxis consultants view each organization as unique. While delivering
a broad range of consulting services, Praxis undertakes major
organizational development projects by working in partnership
with its clients. This usually involves intensive collaboration
with a representative planning group within the client organization
to assess specific needs and to design appropriate interventions.
The key to successful organizational transformation and improvement
is to involve employees from all levels in defining the desired
outcomes and in implementing any changes.
