Praxis' "Rapid Business Assessment" Tool in Action

From Praxis Principal, Mike Shay: I am excited to announce that we put our Rapid Business Assessment (RBA) into action this summer and I want to share some of the experience with you. Dennis Lasker of the Sigma Group and I conducted an RBA for Crucible Industries LLC., a leader in specialty metals out of Syracuse NY which employs 300 people.

The RBA is an analytical tool that is designed to tell how well leadership, strategy, and a culture of ownership are aligned in order to enable maximum performance. Over a 3-day period we conducted interviews, focus groups, direct observations, trained three internal staff to conduct RBA’s in the future and developed and presented a written report.
