Patricia Sofran, Principal, brings to Praxis her extensive experience in managing small busineses in the areas of customer service excellence, contract management, fiscal management, and co-writing training and marketing materials.
Prior to joining Praxis, Patti was a founding principal of the Shay Kimple Consulting Group, Inc. (SKC) where she served as Business Manager and Chief Financial Officer. She has over 25 years of office administration experience, in the public sector as a civil service worker, a member of the AFSME Union, and in the private sector where she provided administrative support to senior executives. In the early 1990’s Patti became interested in the dynamics of small business, and became office manager in a small labor-management consulting firm in Princeton, NJ. She organized conferences, including train-the-trainer, and labor-management partnership leadership workshops. As a founding principal in SKC, Patti assisted in the staffing of training programs to non profit clients, and served as a facilitator for the Dialogue on Poverty in NJ Round Table. Patti also mentored public sector administrative assistants on office protocols that included phone etiquette, dressing for a professional image and how to prepare for and organize meetings for managers and executives.
Patti holds an AAS in Business Management and she has completed a Train-the-Trainer Program and Conflict Resolution Workshops.
