About Praxis Consulting Group
We are an organization development consulting firm providing services to employee-owned companies, nonprofits, healthcare, and other mission-driven organizations. We focus on developing leaders, strengthening employee participation, and fostering collaborative decision-making. Group facilitation and training skills, virtual and in-person
Oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills
Experience in learning and development, including practical knowledge of effective methods of in-person and virtual training and design
Navigation of complex interpersonal, group, and organizational dynamics
Project management and leadership capabilities
Knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn and master, new tools (e.g. leadership assessment tools)
Able to understand, anticipate, and address client needs
Adept at developing long-term client and advisor relationships that result in referrals and high-impact engagements
Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
Proficiency in Office 365, Teams, G Suite, Zoom, and Mural, or willingness to become proficient in the first year
2024 Needs
We will be hiring several people over the next few years. Our highest priorities in 2024 are for individuals who are capable of leading and delivering:
Leadership development services
Leadership succession planning work
Client work in our nonprofit sector (typically strategic planning, senior team development, culture and team-building, general organization development, and other facilitation work)
Diversity, equity, and inclusion services
Over the longer term, we are also looking for people who are interested in learning and delivering our employee-ownership education and communication services, governance, continuous improvement, and other services.
About Working at Praxis
Travel
Travel is expected and varies depending on time of year, client mix, and services. Consultants typically travel 1-2 days per week in many but not all weeks.
Work/Life Sustainability
Consulting work is driven by client needs, and busyness can fluctuate. We strive to balance meeting client needs with making sure that consultants get sufficient rest and time for their personal lives.
Compensation
We determine compensation offers relative to each candidate’s background in the context of our established salary scale. We will share general ranges at an initial interview. We share profits with all employees. We also offer an exceptional benefits package, including 100% employer-paid employee and family healthcare, a 15% employer-paid retirement contribution, among others.
Location
Our office is in the Chestnut Hill neighborhood of Philadelphia and we work a hybrid schedule. We are open to considering strong applicants in other locations.
