The goal of this workshop is to highlight key corporate governance issues that ESOP boards/companies may face. We plan is to have a few case studies for participants to work on together to learn from each other on various topics including: board formation, board agendas, the board’s relationship with the trustee, mature ESOP issues, M&A (buy/sell) conversations, and debt restructuring. Ultimately, participants will walk away with an understanding of the value that a board should have in creating shareholder value.
