Ginny Vanderslice, co-founder of Praxis Consulting Group, has retired. Below, we are sharing a message from Ginny to our community.
As an early champion of employee ownership, Ginny has shaped not only Praxis but the broader community in meaningful and lasting ways. We are deeply grateful for her many contributions, her leadership, and her unwavering commitment to this work.

Dear colleagues,
After spending my career applying organizational psychology and leadership research to strengthen the culture and performance of employee-owned companies, I formally retired from Praxis Consulting Group on December 31, 2025.
I was originally drawn to employee ownership as a business model that enriched the lives of workers by building wealth and by cultivating cultures where their knowledge and experience were valued as part of a community of co-owners with aligned interests.
I have had the honor to work with extraordinary leaders across the country who are committed to their employees, not just to their profits. I’ve also enjoyed being an active member of a national community of generous, creative professionals who are committed to changing people’s lives through employee ownership.
I have been extremely fortunate to work with exceptional colleagues at Praxis Consulting Group who share my values and my commitment to helping employee-owned companies thrive. I am confident that Praxis is in good hands going forward and will continue the important work we began together.
For the foreseeable future I will remain involved with employee ownership through writing, supporting the leadership program for CEOs and Presidents of employee-owned companies offered by the Center for Social Impact Strategies at the University of Pennsylvania, and other activities that contribute to promoting employee ownership.
Warmly,
Ginny Vanderslice
