Virtual Panel on Shared Ownership moderated by Ginny Vanderslice at Rutgers University

On January 9, 2021 Ginny Vanderslice moderated a virtual panel at the 2021 Mid-Year Fellows Workshop in Honor of Louis O. Kelso at the Rutgers University School of Management and Labor Relations Institute for the Study of Employee Ownership and Profit. The ESOP Company Panel included Heather Braimbridge Cox, CEO, Windings; Jeff Millhollin, CEO, Pacific Steel and Recycling; Ron Scheese, CEO, Andesa; and discussant Paul Millman, co-founder and retired CEO of Chroma Technology Corp.The CEOs talked about their companies and how they've made shared ownership matter to their employees and the impact employee ownership has had on the success of each of their companies. They also discussed how they believe leadership is different in an employee-owned company. As Ginny points out, “company leaders aren’t just making people owners but also treating them like owners.” Click here to view the video.
